F.A.Q.

Do you provide edited digital photos? Yes! Every client receives a link with your edited photos on it. You can download them individually or hit the download arrow at the top right to have them all emailed to you. It usually takes 2 weeks or less after the photo shoot to edit and send the photos.

What about printed photos? The link I send has an option to purchase prints of your photos for an additional cost or you can download them and print them at home or print them from your choice of photo print website. All photos I send are high resolution enough for large prints.

How many photos will I get? It varies by the session; there is no exact number. Generally the more interactive you are, the more photos there will be. When I take photos my goal is to capture as many beautiful moments as I can. That means changes in facial expressions, kids playing during candids, etc. will allow for more photo opportunities. For example, I usually tell people around 70-100 for an hour shoot. I almost never go lower than that, but I often go over!

What should I wear? Whatever makes you feel good! These are your photos and you should feel your best. For the indecisive I generally recommend neutral colors and that everyone somewhat match. You can also look up color palettes online for some ideas and creativity! Also dress appropriately for the weather. For example if it’s windy and you have long hair, it might be a good idea to bring a hair tie just in case.

Do you have any suggestions for the best photo shoot experience? For the best photoshoot experience I would recommend going to check out the shoot location a day before the shoot starts. That way there’s no confusion at the time of the shoot. I would also recommend that if your photo shoot is taking place in the middle of your vacation that you wear sunscreen on the days prior to the shoot. Sunburn is not able to be edited out. And one final thing is to get to the shoot a little early. That way we can jump right in and make the most of our time!

Can you photoshop this? For things like small cuts or bruises I have no problem photoshopping that! However due to the high volume of shoots and edits, I cannot photoshop things like wrinkles in clothes nor any sort of body shape alteration,

How do I pay? The retainer fee is paid when using the same link that is sent when you book your shoot. You can either enter a credit card or use paypal. For the remaining balance you just need to pay before you receive the photos from the shoot. I can bring a card reader to the shoot for that or you can pay online using a link, or by using cash app or venmo.

Is the retainer fee refundable? The retainer fee is only refundable in the event of bad weather. I try my best to be flexible and reschedule if possible to make sure you get your photos even in the event of bad weather at the original planned time of your photo shoot.

How long will the link to my photos be available? The link to your photos will stay available for you to download and save at anytime for 6 months after the shoot date. After the 6 month mark it will be deleted to save cloud storage space on my end. If you require your images after the 6 month mark it will be an additional $50 fee for a new link to be created and the photos uploaded there.

What photo locations do you recommend? My personal favorite photo spots are either Chatham Ave Beach Access or North Beach. Chatham Ave has the best sunsets (in my opinion) and nice driftwood and dunes. North Beach has the lighthouse and a rock jetty.
