Seafood & Southern Favorites
🍤 Seafood and Southern Favorites
Bubba Gumbo’s - A local seafood restaurant with fresh shrimp and dockside views
A fantastic seafood restaurant on the north end. Its one of the very few places where you can eat fresh local catches. It really does make a difference!
You can also buy fresh caught fish at the seafood market next door.
Salt Island - Seafood, burgers, and beer in a relaxed setting
Great seafood, burgers, craft beer and more! I definitely recommend checking out their menu because you will find something you like.
Sundae Café - Upscale Southern fare in an unassuming building
Outstanding food! They have a delicious dinner menu that I can’t recommend enough. This is where locals take people they want to impress. Just be sure to make a reservation beforehand.
RAW Ingredients - Laid-back sushi with a loyal following
If you like sushi this place is for you. I’ve been eating here regularly since the day they opened and have never been disappointed!
Casual & Creative Eats
🍕 Casual And Creative Eats
Sea Wolf - Creative comfort food with great cocktails and oysters
Known for wagyu hot dogs, vintage vibes, and a strong locals crowd. Lunch, dinner, or Sunday brunch, you can’t go wrong! The menu changes each month and it is always delicious.
Huc-A-Poos - Funky pizza joint with oversized slices
This pizza place has some real Tybee charm! One slice is a quarter of a whole pizza and it’s both delicious and cheap. And it gets pretty lively at night.
Farace’s Finest – NY-style pizza with a beach town vibe
Fresh hand-tossed pies, sandwiches, and a laid-back spot just off the beach. Known for crisp crusts, garlic knots, and a solid craft beer list. Great for a to-go order or a full sit-down outdoor meal. Four legged friends are welcome!
Zunzi’s - South African inspired sandwiches and bowls
South African food that’s both comforting and familiar, but also fun and different. You can enjoy a smoked sausage sandwich with delicious chips along with their mouth watering sauce.
Treylor Park - Creative takes on comfort food
One of Tybee’s newest restaurants and it does not disappoint! Everything on the menu is both creative and delicious. And as a bonus they also have a play area for the kids.
North Beach Bar and Grill - Casual food by the lighthouse
Locals love the laid-back vibe and ocean breeze. Grab a fish taco, a cold drink, and enjoy live music if you're lucky. It’s between the lighthouse and the Marine Science Center.
Seaside Sweets - Ice cream, treats, and nostalgic candies
This is my personal favorite ice cream shop on the island. I can’t get enough of their malts!
Breakfast, Coffee, & Smoothies
🍳 Breakfast, Coffee, and smoothies
Sunrise Café - Reliable breakfast with a diner feel
A relaxed breakfast place. It reminds me of Waffle House, but better. You can also see the 25 foot photo of the pier I did for them on their wall!
RIPE Ingredients - Smoothies, açaí bowls, and cold-pressed juices
Next to RAW Ingredients is a morning smoothie place called RIPE, owned by the same people, and the smoothies are amazing!
Tybean Art & Coffee Bar - The go-to coffee spot
Coffee! Located next to Huc a Poos, this is THE coffee place on Tybee. The menu is so large it takes up a whole wall.
The Window - Fast fresh and charming takeout spot
A new addition to Tybee’s food scene, The Window serves up scratch-made breakfast favorites with plenty of care. It’s quick, affordable, and already getting love from locals. Located on the side of King Neptunes
